Our Glaston furnace is the final process during the glass fabrication. With the advanced heating technology & innovative control systems that allow precise temperature control, resulting in tempering parameters to meet with Canadian safety standards, with excellent strength and durability.
The tempering process is a high-heating phase, followed by a rapid cooling section, which creates compressive stress on the surface of the glass, making it up to 5 times stronger than standard annealed glass.
Our Glaston furnace is capable of range of glass types and thickness from 4mm-19mm. We have the ability to view every load via the thermal scanner and ensure the heating of the glass is accurate with temperature evenly distributed throughout the surface. The technology in our system allows us to adjust any recipes according the glass thickness and shades of colour and guaranteeing the glass is tempered evenly without distortion.
